MHNI Physical Therapy Program

Andrea Sherman, PT, DPT, who joined MHNI in June 2014 recently became a certfied practitioner in craniofacial pain (CFC) through the University of St. Augustine.  She has also expanded her practice to include special pain education programming for patients suffering from a variety of pain disorders.

Dr. Sherman earned her doctorate in physical therapy from Wayne State University in 2007. Prior to joining MHNI, Dr. Sherman worked for many years in the Henry Ford Health System as an orthopedic and sports rehabilitation specialist. She places a high importance on manual intervention and individualized care with a distinct interest in helping individuals with headache and TMJ pain and dysfunction.  When not at work, she enjoys time with her family, reading, hiking, and kayaking.
